Backup Drive Image description
Backup-2006 Drive Image reads block of clusters and saves it into a file or directly to another disk partition

Unlike classic backup software like Backup-2006 Pro or Synchronizer, Backup-2006 Drive Image is not based on files but on disk clusters. The program reads block of clusters and saves it into a file (image file) or directly to another disk partition (replicate partition).

Backup-2006 disk image will allow users to create compressed or uncompressed image files.

You can choose the compression algorithm (zlib, PPM, bzip) and the compression level.

The image file (compressed or not) can also be encrypted by password. Backup-2006 disk image encrypts image file using AES encryption algorithm.

The image file can also be split to span an image file over multiple CD/DVDs.

From Backup-2006 disk image you can schedule a task to create an image file or replicate one or more partition in one single task. You can also request an automatically Windows shutdown.

Backup-2006 disk image works only with Windows XP/2000/2003 and is able to read and write FAT, FAT32 and NTFS disk partition.

Backup-2006 Disk image is available as a stand alone product, and it is also included in the next coming Backup-2006 Pro package
