Do you remember the first thing you do when you install Windows? Put all drivers into their place, of course. And if you are unlucky enough to lose the CD with the driver tools, then you will probably end up looking for them on various, untrustworthy websites.

My Drivers Professional Edition is a small tool that lets you detect all system devices, remove or update any driver.

It's easy to install, and the interface is pretty simple to understand. CPU and memory are minimally used.

In the main menu you can choose to manage system drivers, identify all system devices, or learn how to use the software (it has an offline help file which is very thorough).

Once you have selected the first option, you can "collect all" drivers, backup and restore them (just to be on the safe side).

Choosing to "collect all" drivers will bring forth a list of all installed drivers on your computer. At this point you can remove or update them.

Unfortunately you can't select to search for updates for a particular driver. My Drivers looks for updates for all of them, after which you have to select which file you want to install.

If you have selected to backup files, you can still do other tasks while the process is running (the backup takes a while).

We have encountered some random errors. My Drivers can be a pretty hectic software when it's displaying alert messages you can't possibly read (from the language point of view). But it's well organized in general (especially when it comes to the backup files).

So, if you'll ever take a break and look over the status of your system drivers, then a software such as My Drivers might come in handy (although others are more powerful). Too bad it acts out once in a while.
