Don't you ever worry about might what happen to your files and folders? Your computer system may suddenly crash and burn, and your precious information will be lost forever.
The logical step to take here is to install a software which creates backups. This way, you'll always have copies of the original stored somewhere safe.
Developed by Symantec, Norton Ghost 9 is a full-system and full-disk backup utility tool which protects all your documents by using advanced back-up and recovery.
The interface is more colorful than Ghost has gotten us used to, and it reminds us of the usual browsers found in Windows.
New features include incremental backups, a file browser that can select individual files and folders from a backup image, and the ability to restore a system's state at a given time.
You can manually create backup images to any storage medium (and that includes removable drives), but if you choose to schedule them, then these will be only made on your local hard drive or network drive.
If you need to restore the system, simply use the bootable CD from Windows.
Another good thing about Norton Ghost 9 is the fact that it can restore backup images created by earlier versions, so you won't need to install older software if you have such old backup images lying around your computer system.
This might be a slightly older version of Norton Ghost, but it has certainly proved itself to be capable on older systems.
