Odboso PhotoRetrieval

Odboso PhotoRetrieval is a simple-to-use application that enables you to recover deleted images from various storage devices, such as hard and physical drives. It comes packed with an intuitive set of options that can be configured by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience.

The installation procedure is rapid and does not require special attention from the user. Once it is done, you can run the app to view a wizard-like structure, where you can view a list of all available drives and select a target for image recovery.

It is possible to specify the image formats you want to take into account for the job, such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, SCR, PSD, TGA, TIFF and camera RAW files.

The tool is also able to look for multimedia items when it comes to 3GP, AVI, M4V, MOV, MID, MP3, WAV and others formats. Apart from selecting specific items, you can click a button to include everything.

During the scan you can preview thumbnails to identify the types of pictures you want to recover. This entire process may take a while, depending on the size of the selected location. Unfortunately, the unregistered edition of Odboso PhotoRetrieval does not let you recover any files.

The application runs on a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. It has a good response time and includes help documentation for less experienced users. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the program did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.

Odboso PhotoRetrieval offers a simple solution to all users who want to quickly get ahold of lost or misplaced images files and other multimedia items.
