PartitionRecovery is a lightweight software application that is able to restore the files and folders in case you have deleted a partition. Since this is a portable version, you can copy the program on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to back up the lost information.

Aesthetically, it’s not very impressive, as it packs a minimalist window with only a few options for helping you restore the files that you have lost. Basically, there are only two options available: you can either restore the selected partition or delete it.

Once you have run the program, PartitionRecovery automatically displays in the main window the detected partitions on your hard drive. Moreover, it provides some information about their current size, and reveals a graphical representation of the used and empty space.

There aren’t any configuration settings, and the main window with the two options is all that you can get from this program. This could be good news only for beginners, as it can help them recover their lost partition in the easiest way possible.

However, more experienced users may find it pretty inconvenient to work with such a tool, as it doesn’t offer many advanced features. We would have liked to see support for previewing the root directory of the lost partition, disc diagnosis, file repair options, and emergency boot media.

PartitionRecovery is a simple software solution when it comes to restoring the files and folders from a partition. You don’t need special computer skills to work with this tool, and this is why it may become ideal tool for less experienced users.
