Smart Data Recovery is a tool that lets you retrieve files and folder which were previously deleted from your system.

The user interface of the program consists of a plain and simple window in which you have few options at your disposal.

So, you can select a drive, recovery mode (normal or extended) and the file format to look for (TXT, DOC, XLS, JPG, GIF, MP3, WMA, MPEG, AVI, ZIP, RAR or all).

The extended mode takes a little longer to complete a scan, but this option is deal for a thorough search or in the case of formatted discs. Keep in mind the fact that scanning may take a while to finish, depending on the size of your hard drive.

During this time, you can view the total number of scanned files and found files which were deleted, as well as a progress bar.
