Universal Chrome Password Recovery

By default, Google Chrome offers to save the user name and password for the web accounts you try to access. The synchronization service makes sure that your data is safely stored in the cloud and ready to be downloaded when needed.

However, under certain circumstances accessing the passwords in the web browser is not possible and you may need a third party application that retrieves the countersigns.

Universal Chrome Password Recovery has been designed to detect where Google’s browser stores the passwords and retrieve them for you.

The application requires .NET Framework to be installed on the system in order to run. Fortunately, the lack of the dependency is automatically detected and you are offered the possibility to download and install it without interrupting the installation of Universal Chrome Password Recovery (UCPR).

The interface is simple and to the point, with a single window showing all the options and features of the program.

Before retrieving the countersigns UCPR checks for the presence of Google Chrome and then you can instruct it to recover the information.

It does not take long for it to return the results of its findings, which include the web address, the user name and the password of the account.

Alternatively, if the required browser is not available on the system it can perform the rescue operation from an external custom file. This means that all you have to do is load the Login Data from Chrome and run the program to decrypt it.

The security settings of the browser make sure that the contents of the file can be revealed only on the machine that encrypted them, so attempting to see the passwords on a different machine is not going to work.

Universal Chrome Password Recovery is simple enough not to require any documentation or instructions.

The passwords can be revealed directly from Chrome or from a custom file that contains them. We tried to test UCPR on a 64-bit system but it did not work.
