CliBench Mk III SMP

CliBench Mk III SMP is a utility that lets you perform various performance measurements for your computer. With it you are able to test memory, CPU raw power and HDD transfer speed.

It displays a user-friendly interface and provides all the tools and features you need in easy to access drop-down menus. The application allows you to test up to 128 processors in one go and also makes it possible to compare the results.

As far as tests go, you can perform ‘Dhrystones’, ‘Whetstones’, ‘Eight queens’, ‘Matrix operations’, ‘Number crunching’, ‘Floating point’, ‘Memory throughput’ and ‘Disk throughput’. To run any of them, all you have to do is access the ‘Test’ menu, select the one you want and then click the ‘Run selected tests’.

You are able to run one, a combination or all the test concomitantly and before you do so, you are prompted with a screen that lets you customize a test description. CliBench Mk III SMP allows you to set the number of threads, enter computer brand and model, motherboard details such as CPU, internal clock, cache size and so forth.

Once the details are inserted, CliBench Mk III SMP gets under way with the test. As it completes each one you select, the results are displayed in the main window. The application allows you to save the results as .cb3 files and if you have one or more exports available, you can compare them.

If you are looking to simply create a report that anyone can read, CliBench Mk III SMP also allows you to save the results as a .txt file which can be opened with any text editor.

The application relies on both standard benchmarks and custom created ones in order to help you check up your computer by allowing you to verify and compare any changes in architecture.
