EF Duplicate Files Manager is an application that can help you locate duplicate files. By keeping the originals only, you can clean up your computer.

The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can specify the directory and initiate the scanning process.

In addition, you can filter the search by enabling the tool to look for files with the same name, size or content, with filter, to skip zero-length files, to search in compressed files and to exclude folders.

When results are displayed, you can view the size, time and date of modification, attributes, path and type of each file.

Groups of files with the same name are color-coded, so you can easily tell them apart. So, you can open the context menu and preview files, as well as rotate images.

In addition, you can run, view, edit, copy, move or delete files, sort them (e.g. by name, extension, size), view properties, open their directory, select all duplicates and invert selection, as well as export them to a CSV, HTML or text document.

Moreover, you can connect to a network, customize the toolbar, set the window font, use an advanced filter (e.g. select attributes, file length, data and time), create an exclusion list, change the interface language, enable cache utilization, choose different colors, edit keyboard shortcuts, and more.

The program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.

However, you have to separately install a third-party component in order for EF Duplicate Files Manager to fully function. Too bad the trial version has some harsh limitations. Otherwise, we strongly recommend this software to all users.
