Easy File Association is an application that gives you the possibility to quickly create associations between files and programs. It especially comes in handy for files yet unassociated with any apps for launch.

The entire setup takes places fast and easy, thanks to the fact that there are no special options or prerequisite software products involved.

As far as the interface is concerned, Easy File Association has an outdated main window that doesn't put emphasis on graphical elements, yet it's simple to navigate. All options are visible, so you can get an overview to easily figure out how to proceed.

It's necessary to indicate the full path of a program's executable with the help of the built-in file browser, select the preferred icon to assign, as well as write the extension type and description you want to apply to the program in question.

It didn't put a strain on the machine's performance in our tests, since it required a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. We haven't experienced any issues as far as compatibility is concerned, although Easy File Association hasn't been updated for a long time. It didn't freeze, crash or indicate errors.
