FileComparison description
FileComparison allows you to easily and quickly compare 2 files.
FileComparison is a small, simple and easy-to-use application that will allow you to easily and quickly compare 2 files.
FileComparison mainly supports binary files, but text files are also supported. FileComparison can list the differences that it finds, including their offsets, and also the hexadecimal representations of the bytes that were found different.
You can also export a text based report for study outside of FileComparison.
Here are some key features of "FileComparison":
· Compare any text or binary file with another text or binary file
· Allows you to control the performance of FileComparison by adjusting the maximum amount of virtual memory it can use at one time
· Can display a list of differences in the Difference List; differences are displayed with their offset, File 1 Value, and File 2 Value.
· Allows you to save a report of how many differences were found; and if the difference list is enabled can include a dump of the Difference list.
