IObit Unlocker is a simple-to-use, straightforward tool that enables you to delete files and folders which the system refuses to remove, by unlocking them. This normally happens when a process is being used by the OS, and you cannot terminate it from Task Manager.
The interface of the program is based on a standard window with a plain and intuitive layout. Loading files and folders into the working environment is done via the tree view or "drag and drop" method.
Batch processing is supported, so you can add as many items as you want, in order to unlock them simultaneously.
Aside from a simple unlocking operation, IObit Unlocker is also able to carry out tasks that automatically deletes, renames, moves or copies the item in question, after unlocking it.
It is possible to enable forced mode, if the regular unlocking method does not work. This option ends the respective process along with the related ones.
IObit Unlocker is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system memory, thus it doesn't put a strain on the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and completes tasks swiftly, without causing Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
We haven't encountered any issues throughout our evaluation. Thanks to its intuitive layout and features, novice users should quickly figure out how to work with IObit Unlocker.
