Inventor IFilter lets you index Autodesk Inventor documents.

It extends Microsoft Indexing Service to extract metadata from Inventor Assembly Documents, Presentation Documents, Drawing Documents and Part Documents.

For better integration with Microsoft applications Inventor IFilter also outputs common office document properties such as 'DocTitle', 'DocAuthor' and others.

Inventor IFilter is available in Server and Workstation Editions.

Inventor IFilter Server Edition is a server-side solution designed for businesses of all sizes. It integrates with Internet Information Server, SharePoint Portal Server, WSS, Site Server, Exchange, SQL Server and all other products based on Microsoft Search technology. Inventor IFilter Server Edition also includes all the functionality of the Workstation Edition.

Inventor IFilter Workstation Edition makes it possible for end users to search Autodesk Inventor documents on their desktops. It can be installed on Windows desktop operating systems and seamlessly integrates with MSN Desktop Search, Indexing Service and Windows File Search.

· Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Professional with Microsoft Indexing Service
