JoneSoft File Splitter is a compact program that was designed to help you split files with ease. You can choose to split them by size or into a certain number of files.
Restoring is simply a matter of running the restore (BAT) file created when the file is split, or, for total control, you can restore using the File Splitter program. Integrated with Windows Explorer to allow even more flexibility.

· can split to any size up to 2GB and directly to any writeable media (via drive letter access);

· can restore direct from the writeable media, negating the need to copy the split pieces to the hard drive first;
· can set the original file time to the restored file;
· can delete the split pieces upon successful restoration;
