MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor

As the name says, MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor retrieves the MD5 and SHA1 signatures from files. It is lightweight, portable and simple to use.

Installation is not necessary, so you can drop the EXE file anywhere on the hard disk and run it. Alternatively, you can save MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor to a USB flash disk or similar device, to run it on any machine without prior installers.

Portable apps do not usually add other files to the computer, and the Windows registry remains unchanged.

The interface of MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor is represented by a small window with an intuitive layout, where you can add a file using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop support is not featured.

Clicking the "Extract!" button reveals the MD5 and SHA1 cheksums. Unfortunately, MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor does not provide options for exporting the signatures to files or copying them to the Clipboard. The latter task can be done via the context menu after making a selection. No other options can be found here.

MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor is not a concern to the computer's overall performance, because it uses a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It quickly extracts the MD5 and SHA1 values, without hanging, crashing or showing error dialogs. MD5/SHA1 Hash Extractor serves its purpose.
