Merlin ADS description
Merlin ADS allows you to add, extract, and delete files using Alternate Data Streams.

Merlin ADS allows you to add, extract, and delete files using Alternate Data Streams.

Merlin ADS also allows you securely delete files and folders (using NSA triple delete standard).

Finally, Merlin ADS allows you to compress files stored in an ADS stream into one, non-ADS file (like a zip file).

Alternate Data Stream (ADS for short) was created by Microsoft to allow files from Mac computers to be easily copied into Windows.

ADS files are “hidden” files. They are called hidden because Windows Explorer, My Computer, and DOS do not display them to the computer user. Without special software, these files are not visible to anyone on the computer.

ADS files are attached to an existing, non-ADS file (the host file). If the non-ADS host file is deleted, the hidden ADS files will be deleted also.

Limitations:
