The fastest way to perform task on any computer is to learn as many hotkey combinations as possible - however, if this is not exactly your cup of tea, you can always rely on dedicated apps that can help you cheat a little and allow you to perform various actions easier than before. For example, you can rely on NewFolderEx to create new folders with only a single mouse click.
The application installs without any issue on any computer running Windows 7 or 8, regardless of its configuration or processor type.
Since it does not have a traditional user interface, you simply need to right click within a folder or on the desktop and you will notice that a new item has been added to the context menu of Windows Explorer.
Due to NewFolderEx, you can create a new folder by simply clicking the newly added item called New Folder - after that, you can assign a name to the directory or save it with the default Windows filename (which is New folder). The newly created item will be saved within the host folder, i.e. where you initially right-clicked your mouse.
Needless to say, NewFolderEx can only be used to create folders to the locations that you have permissions to modify - that is, if your Windows account type is not allowed to edit a certain location, you will not be able to create a new folder as well.
All in all, NewFolderEx can help you save a lot of time whenever you want to organize your files and sort them into folders, as you will no longer need to access the context menu, then New, then Folder - you can drop the intermediary steps and directly create new directories.
