This program was created to let you to move files easy from one computer to another

ProjMover is a small, easy-to-use smart program that was created to let you to move files easily from one computer to another, to work with it at home, in office etc.

ProjMover never forgets to get newest files of projects, never overwrites newer version of file with the older (destoying results of a day of hard work, you know!). Also, files are packed (one project is a solid archive), so it is possible to use even ancient 3.5" diskette (though it is best to use flash disk).

When you bring your media to another machine and insert it (do not forget to get also ProjMover also, at least for the first time, to install it copying to any directory you wish), and select a letter for a media there.

The program will load a list of projects stored on the media. Click Synchronize, to synchronize projects. Older files are overwritten with newer one on hard disk, enough files also are copied, and if you have newer files on a target machine, these are replacing files stored on the media.

When you finished working with files, just (run ProjMover again if you have closed it) click Synchronie again. All is simple but some rules are to be follow:
· time on machines should not distinct a lot (if you bring more fresh files to the machine which system timer is showing tomorrow date, you'll have problems synchronizing projects);
· it is possible to synchronize so many computers how you wish (no restrictions at all), but store directory must much for all the projects (at least use disk letter the same on all machines);
· if a project is too big, but a media is too small (diskette?), it is possible that you will have troubles.

Additional info: when files are replaced on hard disk with versions from the media, these are renamed adding '.old' to the file name.

· Overwriting files on disk fixed (if new version smaller in size, trailing bytes from the old version were not truncated);
· It is possible now to assign its own working folder for each project on each machine (so the project on different machines can be located in different directories);
· Now last sync time for each project is stored in the registry (on synchronized machines) and it is compared with media file time so if a newer version of the file is found in the project directory while the synchronization operation but media file has newer date then last sync time for a project, the question is answered if to replace therefore file on disk. In previous version of the ProjMover such file silently were replaced _on_media_ and in some cases this could be very undesired. (E.g. you have brought new version on the machine but before performing sync operation, some of _older_ files were rewritten on disk eventually so this become "younger". Since new ProjMover remember that last sync date for a project still older then media date, it will therefore replace files on a disk from a version on media, aksing first about this).
· It is now possible to use not only removable disk as media, but any directory on disk. This can be useful to store last files from some directories, network shares, different media on the HDD as a preserve storage.
· Some changes in the interface.
