Quadfiles

Quadfiles is a directory data viewer that gives users the ability to print, copy, paste, and modify contents of any files or folders.

Quadfiles offers a clear view of both file and folder placement via two separate panels. You can also check out information about the name, date, time, and size of all files included in any selected directory.

In case the overall layout is too cluttered, users can disable the total amount of information displayed in the central panel thanks to a couple of options in the lower bar.

This little managing tool is built to provide two primary functions: first, it allows users to copy, paste, sort, and print contents in any directory, and secondly, it grants the creation and modification of dates of any files found in that particular folder. This process can be done either by selecting a single file or using batch actions. Users can change the month, day, hour, and even the second the file has been created or modified.

However, the sort of exposure offered by the program is not similar to something you would see in Windows Explorer, but it rather shows the list of files in text layout, together with their contents. Unless the selected items are written in binary, like some applications, most materials show up as text.

More than that, Quadfiles also allows changing the mask of one or multiple file names in a particular directory. To print opened folders, users can save opened directories as OXPS documents that can be easily printed later.

Quadfiles is a simple and practical application that serves a very specific purpose: to expose all the available data in text format. In the end, it can do minimal changes to file properties like creation and modification dates, together with changing file masks, but not much else.
