Rools's Finder is designde to be a search utility tool that provides a pretty fast file search with an easy to use interface.

Here are some key features of "Rools s Finder":

· Drive(s):
· All available drives are displayed, and you may select to search one, more, or all drives. A "Refresh Drive List" button redisplays the list of drives, so you may insert or remove a floppy or CD while the main screen is visible.
· Current Drive:Directory:
· This editable box displays the current directory, or the last directory searched. You may browse to any directory (folder). You may also type a path in the box.
· File Name Matching:
· You may search for file names matching any file name or wildcard.
· Containing Text:
· Searches for files which contain the entered text. You may match exact upper/lower case and/or match only whole words.
· Modified Since:
· You may search for files modified since any date by selecting a date in the familiar calendar box. In the calendar, you can go forward and back between months with the arrows, or select a month by clicking the month name, and another year the same way.


During a search, a small indicator appears. Generally, a search takes a few seconds or less. Results are displayed in a window, with the full path to each file found, and its modified time. Also displayed is your search criteria, and how much time the search took. All the settings for the last search are remembered and preset.
