Splitter is an application which helps you to split large files to muliple floppy disks or hard drive for emailing

Splitter is an application which helps you to split large files to muliple floppy disks or hard drive for emailing.

Click on 'send to floppy disk' to do so.

Click on 'Password Protect' to encrypt the file before it is split.
WARNING: you can apply any PIN number of 4 figures or more.
If you forget your PIN you may not be able to open the file when it is reconstructed.

Click on 'Split File' and choose file to split. The files created are either sent to
the floppy disk or deposited in the same folder as the original file.
Due to the high failure rate of floppy disks it is advisable to save to the hard drive and then copy the files manually to floppy disk. Ensure you copy all files to floppy including '.glu' file which should be saved to disk 1 along with '.g0'

To Reconstruct

Insert floppy disk containing file with '.glu' extention, then follow the instructions on screen.
Files are reconstructed in the 'windowstemp' folder, this can be
changed by clicking the '->' button and selecting the folder you want or by typing in the folder name in the 'Write file to' box.

Create a new folder if appropriate by clicking on the 'New Folder' button and
entering the new folder name in the dialog box.
