picManager is a handy and reliable utility designed to enable you to efficiently organize your pictures.
In the digital world of today an old fashion photo album (or a shoe box) is not enough to keep our memories safe and organized. picManager had been designed to help you stay organized without spending hours going through your photos to catalog them. Create a perfect photo repository with our picManager.
Scan all your media (hard drive, CDs/DVDs, memory cards etc) and put them into one place sorted and filed by the picture year and month. While coping them you can even automatically have the picture rotation fixed.
Here are some key features of "picManager":
SELECT PICTURE SOURCE:
· Browse for folder containing your photos. Once the source folder is selected you have an option to search the folder and optionally subfolders for photos that match your filtering options.
FILTER PICTURES BY FILE TYPE:
· In most cases we only look for '.jpg' and '.jpeg' files (default type for most digital cameras) but if you have pictures in other formats you can add the file extension(s) that you want to be included while searching for photos.
FILTER PICTURES BY DATE:
· Copy only photos taken within a specific date range or taken before or after a specified date. To make your life even easier we put on the 'context menu' of the date selector (right mouse button) shortcuts for Today, This Week, This Month.
AUTO FIX JPEG ROTATION:
· Most modern digital cameras detect the camera orientation when the picture is taken. If present this setting can be detected and if you selected this option your target photo will be automatically rotated to correct orientation.
ELIMINATE 'NON-PHOTO' FILES:
· In some cases there could be files within the source folder(s) that match your search criteria (file extension, file date) but are not photos. We test the file sizes and any file that is smaller than 1MB is excluded.
PROCESSING REPORTS AND REVIEW:
· Upon completion of the copying process users are presented with extensive reports including 'Processed Photos'; 'Skipped Photos'; 'Target Photos Exist'. Users can also compare the source picture(s) with the target picture and if the file had been rotated, they can replace the rotated picture with the original.

· 1GB (2GB for 64bit operating systems) of RAM (2GB (4GB -64bit) recommended.
· 1024x576 or higher resolution strongly recommended.
