One of the first steps is selecting the source, and you can either pick multiple drives, or choose a bunch of folders. When done, the application lets you select only those files you want to remove. Quick options are there to easily select or deselect all of them. However, they are not removed right away, because the application provides options to have files moved to a different folder instead, sent to Recycle Bin, or shredded so they can’t be recovered later on.

As such, Disk CleanUp Wizard is a tool you can keep around from the moment you install Windows, and run it from time to time in order to scan and remove files that have no further use, but still take up precious space.
