ActiveStartup description
ActiveStartup - Windows startup manager. Supports backup/restore configurations
ActiveStartup allows you to manage programs which load from Registry, Win.ini and Startup Menu at Windows Startup.
Using ActiveStartup, you can inspect, edit, and/or temporary disable such
programs, make backup configurations, and so on. ActiveStartup automatically
scan Registry, Win.ini and Startup Menu folders and displays all found programs.
Here are some key features of "ActiveStartup":
· Add / delete / disable programs from Windows startup list
· Backup / Restore startup configurations (which you can use later)
· Open system utilities
(RegEdit, SysEdit)
· Monitor the list of programs for updates and changes
· Launch selected program
· Checks for 'dead' file at system startup
· Hotkey to activate ActiveStartup from tray
· Multilanguage support
· WindowsXP themes support
If you are logged not as system administrator on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, ActiveStartup can only display the contents of the "All users" sections. You can't create, modify, delete, disable, close or move startup items in this location.
Limitations:
· Non-registered version of ActiveStartup is a "full-featured" release. This means that the same capabilities available in the registered software are present in the non-registered software. This allows you to try out all the features in ActiveStartup confirming that they work to your satisfaction.
· You can use non-registered version of ActiveStartup for 30 days.
