CPUOff Lite application was designed to monitor the CPU load and initiates computer shutdown if the average CPU load has been below 15% for 60 seconds.
CPUOff Lite can be initiated either manually or automatically via the Windows Task Scheduler. The program activates 2 seconds after starting and shuts down 30 seconds after shutdown is initiated unless shutdown is cancelled.
Uses of CPUOff Lite include unattended backup (or other processor intensive operations), shutting down the computer when the backup has completed. It can be started via the Windows Task Scheduler at the same time as the backup is initiated.
CPUOff Lite can also be started manually to allow the computer to power off automatically once a task has completed. This is a great little utility for saving energy by making sure a computer switches off when it has finished a task.
