The PC Remote Control application was designed to be a versatile software that allows you to control the computer in a simple way, as you do with a TV or DVD player. The origin of control can be the RS-232 serial port, TCP/IP network or some other more specific.
Available actions:
- Keyboard press simulation, single or combined
- Mouse cursor movement and clicks
- Volume control
- Application launch
- Sending messages to applications via PostMessage
- Shutdown of PC, window appearance control, on screen display.
More frequent uses:
- Control of the computer during multimedia reproduction.
- Presentations.
Requirements:
· For typical handset remote control use, some of the devices mentioned in Remote control solutions or Do-it-yourself pages.
· For TCP/IP network control, it is possible to connect as client or server. With the PC Remote Control installation are included two accesory applications (CGIRemote and TCPIPRemote) that demonstrate the possibilities of this type of control.
Limitations:
· The shareware version available for download is only limited to the number of commands.
