PC Timer Pro
PC Timer Pro was designed as a shutdown scheduler, able to allow the end user to build custom schemas that will be triggered at a predefined time.
Schedules are based on a calendar, therefore the operations can occur days ahead, as configured by the user. Possible scenarios include shutdown, restart, log off, hibernate and lock.
The program relies on a clean and straightforward installation process that can optionally create a desktop shortcut for ease of access. In terms of appearance, PC Timer Pro adopts a simple GUI that encases an organized and easy to understand feature set.
The steps you need to take in order to create a schedule are fairly simple; first and foremost, you ought to select the date of the timer, which can be the current day or a date in the future. Next, you are required to specify the time when the action will be triggered and this can be set with the aid of the dedicated dropdown menus.
All that remains to be done at this point is to select the operation to be performed and to start the timer, after which a countdown will be displayed so as to keep you posted on the remaining time. If, at any point, you wish to annul the schedule, simply stop the timer.
On the downside, PC Timer Pro cannot be programmed to perform a shutdown action at a preset interval (for instance, in two hours). The approach embraced by the program is quite traditional, restricting the user to one option alone - specifying the exact time for the schedule.
