TimeComX Basic is a software solution designed to help you schedule certain tasks for your computer, even if you’re not in front of the monitor.

Although most users are tempted to think about the basic operations such as shutting down, rebooting or standing by, TimeComX Basic can provide a lot more than that and you’ll see that from the first minute of using it.

The interface is impressively pleasant and it doesn’t take more than a minute to get used to it. Just choose the task you wish the program to do, specify the time to do it and you’re ready to go.

As said, the application can do some extra things beside the common tasks, so it can for example end a process at a specified time, play an audio file, run a file or open a given URL. Plus, it can take screenshots of the screen before the actual task and it can even display a countdown warning to let you cancel the task execution.

What we found really impressive during our test was the monitoring function that could easily track CPU or network activity, as well as a desired process. Plus, it can log keyboard and mouse activity, so that the user will know exactly what happened on his computer before it shut down for instance.

Last but not least, TimeComX Basic has the option to lock the interface, so nobody else beside you will be able to cancel a given task.

All in all, TimeComX Basic is indeed a great software tool, and in case you’re not looking for more advanced apps addressed to experienced users, you should really give this one a try.
