asSYStant mini is a freeware utility that provides you an easy and quick access to Microsoft Windows accessories (notepad, calculator, etc.) and to your favourite programs. There are three different ways to launch an application with asSYStant mini and all of them are easy to do.

Here are some key features of "asSYStantmini":

· Select an item from the DropDown List and push the button a left arrow on it.

· You can type the name (and the path) of an application in the Text Box and then start the program with the "right" button. It is enough to type only the name (e.g. notepad.exe) if you want to launch a Windows accessory, but you have to give the full path if you want to start a different program (= C:Program FilesIrfanViewi_view32.exe)

· You can find five buttons at the bottom of asSYStant mini and you can launch different programs with each of them. The paths of these programs are stored in the file 'progs.ini' and you can assign your favourite and frequently used applications to the buttons by editing this ini file. (Check if this file is copied into asSYStant mini's directory among the other ones.). Hotkeys: Alt+e: exit immediately (without Messages Box); Alt+w: brings the window of asSYStant mini forward.
