AssetWorX application is a Windows platform based, network tool, to help network administrators with the day-to-day management of their LAN/WAN environments. AssetWorX collects hardware, software and configuration data over the LAN/WAN and saves it to a central database. No agent rollout to clients is required.

AssetWorX is a powerful network asset, information and administration tool, specifically designed for Microsoft Windows domain administrators. AssetWorX can be used by anyone who has a domain account with domain administrative privileges, and who has only some very basic domain administrative skills and understanding. It takes about 1 minute to install, and about 3 minutes to configure, and then you can start collecting valuable data from client computers and servers, over your LAN and WAN links.

AssetWorX collects hardware, software and system configuration data from the specified domain assets, and saves it to a central MS Access database, thus taking a snapshot of the computers each time data is collected and thereby saving a history of the computer’s hardware and software details.

Once the data is collected, you can view this data through more than 70 pre-configured reports, in the AssetWorX Reports Console. You can also easily create custom reports, by using the very intuitive MS Access reports & query wizards, and then view these new custom reports from the AssetWorX Reports Console.

AssetWorX can collect data from up to 100 computers concurrently. So AssetWorX connects to up to 100 computers at the same time, and writes the data to a relational database. This can be done over extremely low bandwidth data links, and this process itself uses just as little bandwidth, even with several connections to computers over a WAN link.
