This information is then used to pre-populate the AuditWizard database.

· A number of changes have been made to the database creation routines to make the
· database compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2005. In addition some non-ANSI
· queries have been modified to be ANSI compliant to enable SQL Server 2005 to run in
· native rather than compatibility mode.
· A number of changes have been introduced in the start-up of the AuditWizard
· Autoloader service to make diagnosis of errors starting the service easier. If the
· service fails to start it will be removed from the Service Control Manager. This ensures
· that an attempt to restart will use any updated credentials as these are passed to the
· service on the command line. Previously the service would need to be removed
· manually if updated credentials were to be made use of.
· There was a bug in the audit scanner which could result in multiple identical instances
· of an application being reported for a single asset. This bug has been fixed and the
· duplicates will be removed by the database upgrade to v7.1.2.
· The 'Add Location' button was being hidden if 'Allow user to cancel scan' was being
· specified.
· The method by which the current user is detected was modified in v7 to allow the
· scanner to run as a service. Unfortunately this appears to have broken the user
· detection under Windows 9x. The scanner has been modified to handle the detection
· of the logged on user under both operating systems.
· A problem with the versioning of the AUD file generated from an audit of a PDA meant
· that the files would not upload but would instead be renamed to .AUX. This problem
· has been fixed.
· AuditWizard could hang when uploading certain audit files where the asset has not
· been uploaded previously, the location for the asset did not already exist and the
· location was multiple levels down in the structure. This could cause a deadlock in the
· database access code. This problem has been fixed.
