CPU Usage is a lightweight and portable application that shows the current CPU and memory usage levels of your computer. It is very simple to work with it, even if your experience with software tools is limited.
Since installation is not a requirement, you can simply drop the program files anywhere on the hard drive and run the executable file immediately.
As an alternative, you can save CPU Usage to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any computer with minimum effort.
What's important to keep in mind is that the Windows Registry area does not get entry updates, and leftover files are not kept on the hard disk after removing the program.
At deployment, it displays two separate, vertical frames with bars, representing the CPU and RAM level, respectively. It provides accurate information by using system data, and also lists the usage levels in percent. Unfortunately, CPU Usage does not comprise any options or configurable settings.
The tool is light on the system resources, using a minimum quantity of CPU and RAM to work properly. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the other hand, CPU Usage has not been updated for a very long time, and it is not compatible with newer OS platforms.
