The SysCompare product family is the first of its kind tool to dynamically scan and report on the configuration DIFFERENCES of Microsoft Windows-based computers. Companies can even leverage their Active Directory environment to scan all computers in their environment.
SysCompare is designed to scan and collect information about a local computer or other computers on the network. These scans can then be used to determine how the software and hardware is different between the scanned computers. Unlike a traditional inventory management system that only collects information, SysCompare is built from the ground up to compare the configuration between computers.
Get SysCompare and give it a try to see just how useful it can be for you!
Here are some key features of "SysCompare Lite":
Query Computers in Active Directory:
· You can now query Microsoft Active Directory networks to identify and select computers to scan. These are then automatically inventoried and compared against each other. Both Organizational Units and Containers can be selected from any domain in your Active Directory Forest.
Scan all Computers based on IP Subnet:
· You can now specify an IP Address range to search for computers that should be compared against one another. Any computer that is turned on and is accessible to your account will be automatically scanned.
Bulk Export of Results to Excel:
· Results can now be exported to Excel at any level in the application. You no longer need to copy and paste each result view or export multiple times. All of the properties of a specific computer, category or computed differences can be exported all at once.
Custom Queries:
· SysCompare adds support for custom queries. If there are specific computer, software, hardware, or performance data you need to report and compare on, you can now define your own WMI Query to do this. SysCompare will automatically include your custom scan and compare it against all other computers selected.
Scalable Bulk Scanning Performance:
· The number of processors and threads can now be specified to adjust performance and CPU load when performing bulk scans. For dedicated monitoring and scanning machines, this higher thread count will enable SysCompare to performance more simultaneous scans.
UI Improvements:
· Additional improvements have been made such as right click context menus, a new Highlight Panel to show details about your current view, and general performance enhancements.
Requirements:
· .Net Framework 4.0
Limitations:
· Limited features
