RSI-Shield represents one of the few applications that not only provides breaks, but also really fights RSI actively.

RSI-Shield can make the computer actions for you.

You can, amongst other things, record frequently made operations, so you can play them back later on (fastened or repeatedly). By using RSI-Shield you don't have to use the keyboard and mouse as often. You can create simple macros (e.g. by simply recording them with the macro recorder), but you can also create very powerful macros (by using the very extensive programming language).

RSI-Shield can also control the mouse buttons for you. If you hover the mouse cursor for a short while over an item, RSI-Shield will automatically click. RSI-Shield can take over the following actions: left click, right click, double clicking, and drag-and-drop.

New in RSI-Shield is the feature that enables you to control the mouse via the keyboard. Lots of people have more pain using the mouse than the keyboard. With RSI-Shield you can simulate all mouse functions via the numeric part of your keyboard.

Furthermore, RSI-Shield monitors all your actions and determines, using that information, how long and when you have to take a break.You can adjust everything just as you like it. It knows three kinds of breaks (that is more than any other break software available): micro-, medium- en macro breaks. It has a proven 'intelligence' that makes sure that you only get breaks when they are needed. So you'll never get a break just after you have returned from your lunch-break.

On top of that, RSI-Shield plays 3D animated exercises, if you want. These exercises are based on Cesar- and Mensendieck-therapy, and greatly reduce the chance of getting RSI/CTD or (if you already have RSI/CTD) greatly increase the chance of improving/curing your injury.
