Stress for the graphics (GPU) or CPU(s) and determine how your computer stands on the overall performance using this simple and straightforward tool. #Stress CPU #Stress GPU #CPU Usage Level #Stress #CPU #GPU
Have you ever pushed yourself when at the gym just to see how much effort you can endure and when muscular failure comes in? Maybe yes, maybe no, but stressing out the body will just make it stronger. StressMyPC on the other hand will make your computer sweat like a pig, or at least that's what the author suggests. This little application can be used to test your computer's performance, just to see what it can take before crashing, or without crashing at all.
StressMyPC won't put the users to the stress, just the machine, that’s why the interface was built to accommodate any type of individual, skilled at these types of matters or not.
A good portion of the UI is taken up by certain stress definitions, so the user is aware of what type of stress is going to be performed. Three straining levels are available to experiment with. A paint-stress element, which targets the GPU, peppering your screen with random, racing colors, an aggressive CPU test, and a Hard Disk test can work together to kneel your PC.
The tests can be independently applied, or you can go all-in and activate all of them. The stressors on/off status are updated in real-time so you can be aware of what strains your machine.
Overclocking the GPU o CPU adds additional stress levels comparing to a stock configuration. Maybe that's the reason the developer mentioned that as a warning. Overclocked or unstable rigs are susceptible to crashes way easier than untouched computers, so consider that when working with overlook setups.
StressMyPC is for computers what a spinning exercise wheel is for rats. No matter if your rig is ancient or brand new, you can always make sweat a bit, just to see what it can take and for how much time.
