Zeno Systems Toolkit description
An eclectic mix of utilities spanning a wide range of uses.
Zeno Systems Toolkit is a relatively small and useful collection of utilities that cover a wide range of uses. The kit currently includes software for: clipboard management, units conversation, pop3 daemon, color mixer, screen shots, magnifier, ruler, calculator with tape, error level reporting tool, mp3 player, programmable app launcher, mini golf solitaire. And there's more in the works...
Here are some key features of "Zeno Systems Toolkit":
· Clipboard Magnet automagically saves textual content from the clipboard to file. With Clipboard Magnet, you can continuously copy large amounts of text without the worry of overwriting your previous clipboard content. A great timesaver for writers, webmasters and programmers.
· Jambone is a tiny, portable mp3 player crafted from 100% native API with a 'form follows function' approach. A clean and uncluttered interface. Skinned windows, visual fireworks, and spinning whirly-gigs Jambone has not - relax and enjoy the music.
· Mailscout is a notification utility that scans email located on a single POP3 server for words/phrases you specify. This means you can do other things while Mailscout keeps watch for those important messages you're anticipating.
· Mille is a units conversation calculator with an emphasis tending towards the practical rather than the exotic... With several related subcategories displayed simultaneously, you can quickly copy the desired conversation from Mille into the document of your choosing with a minimum of fuss.
· Mini Golf Solitaire challenging enough to simulate your mind, yet light enough to play a hand in a minute or two.
· qTray (Quick Tray) is an application launcher that gives you access to your most commonly used programs, via a hotkey enabled popup menu. Lean, mean, and never in your way, qTray serves one purpose, and one purpose only, to save you time.
· Screen Tool is a very useful utility offering: Screen shots. HTML, RGB, HEX, and COLOREF values of any screen pixel. Current X/Y cursor coordinates. Magnifier with zoom up to x32.
· Color Mixer allows you to create a custom colors by simply dragging any of the three sliders to the desired position, or select a preset color from the inbuilt palette. Outputs to HTML, RGB, HEX, COLORREF, or the X11/Websafe color entity names.
· Screen Ruler allows you to quickly measure items on your screen. Features 3 differing layouts (square, horizontal, vertical), as well as the ability to change its size.
· Simplex is a seven function calculator including tape, designed to be used in tandem with your favorite software. Since its size can be changed on the fly from one of three layouts; its a smart choice when used along side other applications.
· WEL (Windows Error Level) helps you find the meaning of a given error level produced by the Windows operating system. Programmers and technical folks will find this especially handy for troubleshooting.
