Aml Assist is a desktop plugin for Aml Pages that was designed to help users save text, web pages and other similar contents from Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, OpenOffice, Maxthon, Microsoft Word, Safari, Google Chrome, The Bat!, Windows Explorer and Total Commander in an intuitive manner.
In order for users to extract the data they need from the program of their choice, it's enough to select the content (for example tables, text fragments, pictures or files) and drag the selection all the way to the Aml Assist pane. After those operations have been completed, users can choose the format they want to save the freshly collected data as.
The plugin displays a quick-access icon directly on the desktop, so that users can access Aml Pages without any efforts. Just double-click the icon to show the main screen of the host application and repeat the operation to bring it back to view quickly.
The "Settings" window lets users hide or show the quick access icon on the desktop, launch the plugin at Windows startup, save collected info to a specific document and even configure a set of hotkeys to capture selected text quickly and with minimum efforts.
