IEBlocker is one of several new Net widgets released by Custom Browser. IE Blocker is a nifty utility that provides scheduling for access to Internet Explorer, Folders and MyComputer browsing on all Windows platforms.
If you wish to make sure that your children can only surf the net from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, IE Blocker makes it a snap. The current version of IEBlocker will soon have new additions that enable blocking of all Internet Browser activity regardless of the manufacturer.
· Restart the computer to insure all settings are utilized. Sometimes only a re-login is required.
· Understand that when blocking Internet Explorer, other restrictions or allowances are over ridden.
· To block Task manager in non 98 machines, use the Policy Editor.
Not every setting will be memorized under each profile. Each profile requires a purchase.
· To prevent users from disabling IEBlocker, prevent access to all Windows Utilities. Make sure IEBlocker is enabled during Windows Start-up
· You may use CTRL-ALT-INSERT to SHOW/HIDE IEBlocker.
