KCPUCooler is a very simple application that shuts down the CPU when no application is using it, this operation saves energy (can increase battery life on laptop), reduces the CPU's temperature and extends CPU's life.It is reccomanded for laptop and especially on overclocked CPUs.
KCPUCooler is very small (the installer application is bigger that the program itself) and uses a very low amount of memory (less than 200KB when minimized on the tray).
KCPUCooler doesn't decrease your computer overall performance, but it is an application and it uses only a very little amount of your system resources.
