Soft Lock is a security program, designed on the Delphi programming environment for the Windows operating system.
Soft Lock can be used alongside most of other security programs, without any conflicts between them. Also, it is quite light-weight, so it is in no way likely to have some negative effect in your system.
Best results are achieved if Soft Lock runs alongside with an anti-virus program and probably behind some basic firewall (the windows in-built firewall or the router firewall clearly suffice). In such a case, the computer is bound to have a very high protection level.
Its basic principles are very straightforward and easy to understand, but powerful all the same. It consists of two parts; Task Management and RAM management, each of which offers a wide range of capabilities.
With Soft Lock you'll be able to keep a close eye on the performance of your system and manage the RAM usage as you please.

· Added commands to make small temperature rises not to be detected. The amount of degrees that the temperature has to rise in order for Soft Lock to detect that and perform all appropriate commands can be specified by the user.
· Slightly changed the way the task recognition engine works and it has become more intelligent. Specifically, we fixed a bug in the windows handles processing and comparing.
· Created the foundations onto which tasks rapidly opening and closing can be handled (this is not complete yet and it does not effect the program in any noticeable way). This feature will start being actually active from version 4.4.2 and on.
