RegAlyzer is a handy Windows tool addressed to more experienced computer users who want to browse and modify the registry easier than with the standard “Regedit” utility.
And truth is, RegAlyzer indeed makes the whole process easy as pie because it relies on a simple interface and useful features to serve its purpose.
While it automatically reads the registry and displays all entries in a dedicated panel, it also shows detailed information in four different tabs, namely “Data”, “Security Information”, “Info Database” and “Change logs”.
One of the good things integrated into this app is the bookmark manager that enables users to save a specific entry and easily access it at a later time.
Plus, it comprises an advanced search feature, as well as support for QWord and DWord editing. The search feature boasts a remarkable number of options, including search focus, which can be keys, values or data, but also data types – strings, numerics and binary data, search range – this key only and whole registry.
Additionally, you can customize the search process and look for keys by date, with user defined values to sort entries newer or older than a specific point.
A help manual is included as well, but the amount of information is pretty limited, so you can't read anything else beside basic descriptions of each feature integrated into the app.
