Release RAM Pro description |
|
|
Release RAM makes Your Computer Faster, RAM More Efficient, and Reduce Window Crashes
Realease RAM speeds up your computer by managing your RAM more efficiently.
You can free up wasted RAM back to the CPU at any time allowing your system to have more memory available, so making program execution faster because as free memory it is ready and waiting.
Release RAM can automatically free-up RAM if a critical amount of Free RAM is reached preventing your system's performance from being degraded. Many users have claimed that this has reduced the number of Windows system crashes (The Blue Screen of Death) they have had since using Release RAM.
Others have commented how their CD writers have not bombed out anymore with writing errors. You can configure your cache settings to suit the way you use your computer, optimize your virtual settings to reduce virtual memory re-sizing, disk swapping, disk defragmentation, and constant hard disk access.
Release RAM runs in the background recovering and defraging RAM, recovering memory leaks, all helping to keep your system in peak condition.
Limitations:
· 30 day trial after which some features will be disabled · Nag screen

· Download file size reduced by about half. We have replaced the percentage bars and the slider controls with much smaller and efficient ones.
· CPU speed indicator now supports most CPU types. On some systems it also now displays the manufacturer of the CPU e.g. Intel, AMD.
· Fixed a bug which returned an overflow error number 6. This occurred on systems where virtual memory had been disabled in Windows by the user.
· Minimized at startup bug now fixed. It now shows the RAM available in the item in the taskbar when it first starts up if the display at startup option had been set to Minimized in Taskbar. Previously it would only display R-RAM in the title until you clicked on it.
· Fixed the setup program where sometimes on occasions ran the setup to another program the user may had previously installed that used the filename setup.exe
