Security Stronghold Registry Cleaner is a simple-to-use piece of software that enables you to scan the Windows registry for any invalid entries and clean them. It comes packed with an intuitive set of options that can be figured out by all types of users.
Hassle-free installation and intuitive GUIThe setup procedure does not take a long time to finish. As far as the interface is concerned, Security Stronghold Registry Cleaner opts for a normal window with a neatly organized structure, where you can start the scanning procedure with the click of a button.
Customize registry settingsBy default, Security Stronghold Registry Cleaner looks into file extensions and associations, history, shared DLLs, help file paths, ActiveX and COM entries, invalid fonts and shortcuts, and so on. Any of these areas can be excluded from scanning.
Export results and fix invalid keysScan results show the total issues found in each category, along with the full registry key paths. All selected objects can be removed, while the entire list can be exported to file for closer examination and safekeeping. Before doing so, Security Stronghold Registry Cleaner creates backups for the original registry entries, just in case Windows starts experiencing issues afterward; they can be easily restored.
Evaluation and conclusionScan jobs are performed rapidly while CPU and RAM consumption remains low. We have not come across any kind of difficulties in our tests, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. However, similar apps offer the same functionality for free.
