Registry Repair Pro
Registry Repair Pro is an application that you can use to scan and fix any Windows registry errors found on your system.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. You can scan the registry for issues, restore a backup (which is automatically made by the tool before cleaning the registry), as well as schedule an automatic scan.
When it comes to the scanning process, you can select which kind of errors to look for, such as invalid paths, fonts, help files or shared DLLS, obsolete start menu items, unused software entries, the classes section and system services.
Once the scanning job is done, you can read the total number of errors in each area, as well as view details and select which problem you want Registry Repair Pro to repair.
Furthermore, you can schedule a task by selecting the scan type (e.g. start and scan for errors), frequency, start and finish time.
In the "Advanced Settings" area, you can set Registry Repair Pro to automatically run at system startup, as well as to minimize to system tray when hitting the "Close" button.
The program takes up a moderate amount of system resources and includes a well-drawn help file with snapshots. No errors have popped up during our tests and Registry Repair Pro didn't freeze or crash either.
However, the trial version is severely limited and can only fix a handful of registry errors, stopping us from accurately evaluating it. Plus, there is no option to disable the automatic creation of backups, to create an exclusion list, and others.
Although Registry Repair Pro looks promising, its limited features make it very difficult to evaluate. So, we can only recommend you test the tool for yourself.
