Photoshop SpeedUp

As the name implies, Photoshop SpeedUp was designed to help graphic designers speed up Adobe Photoshop, as we all know it takes a lot of time to load its working environment and options.

Unfortunately, the app has not been updated for a long time, and it only works with Photoshop 3 through CS5. The installation procedure is quick and does not require special attention from the user.

At startup, Photoshop SpeedUp searches the program files for your installed copy of Photoshop. If you have placed it in a custom location (e.g. on another partition), it asks you to enter its path.

The GUI is user-friendly and packs limited options. It is important to mention that Photoshop SpeedUp creates backup for your current settings by default, so you can roll back the changes at any time afterward.

As far as optimization goes, you can stop the loading of CMap, Base and Photoshop presets, as well as specify the maximum memory to be used by the graphic editing application (in percentage). Plus, it is possible to disable plugins that you rarely or never use. Applying the new settings is done by clicking a button.

Photoshop SpeedUp offers multilingual support and uses a minimum amount of CPU and RAM, so it doesn't affect performance. It has a good response time and applies the new settings rapidly. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and the tool did not hang or crash.
