A small software tool that will help the user enable Registry Editor in no time, which doesn't require experience or installation
There are many reasons why Registry Editor may stop working. Some viruses attack it and, even if you have used an antivirus program, it doesn't fix damages areas of the system.
On the other hand, you may have disabled Registry Editor intentionally or not using specialized tools for disabling access to unauthorized users.
Since there is no setup pack included, you can drop the executable file anywhere on the hard disk and run it directly.
It is also possible to move Restore Regedit to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any workstation without prior installers.
An important aspect to keep in mind is that portable apps do not usually create files on the hard disk, and the Windows registry does not receive new entries.
Restore Regedit requires a double-click to complete the task. It does not contain a graphical interface, as restoring Registry Editor is done promptly. A simple message dialogs pops up to inform of you of the tool's success.
Unfortunately, Restore Regedit has not been updated for some time. Other than that, it should please all types of users, thanks to its simplicity and effectiveness.
