XP Tools Pro is an application that comes equipped with the necessary utilities for managing your computer system.

The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. You can use tools which allow you to clean the disk, remove unwanted spyware, clean the Windows registry, organize programs that automatically run at system startup, optimize memory, repair invalid shortcuts, and more.

So, you can select which areas of the hard drive you want XP Tools Pro to clean, including Recycle Bin, Internet history files and cache files, along with temporary files.

Furthermore, you can scan a volume for junk and configure options when it comes to the type of files to be cleaned, as well as deletion mode and other settings (e.g. scan zero size files).

When it comes to spyware removal, you can opt for a quick scan or custom scan mode. The tool looks into running processes, registry, tracking cookies, the system folder and known files.

Furthermore, you can select which areas of the registry will be scanned, add programs to the system startup menu and free memory.

But you can also clean tracks (in Windows, Internet Explorer and others), password-protect executable files, shred files, manage processes, uninstall programs, view system information, enable automatic shutdown, backup drivers, use a HEX editor, and more.

The program takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, contains a well-drawn help file and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.

However, we were unable to access certain features, such as "Optimize Memory" (pressing the "Free Memory" button didn't initialize anything) and "Hide Folder".

In conclusion, XP Tools Pro certainly packs a lot of useful utilities for maintaining and improving the performance of your computer. So, it's to be expected that not all features properly work. Otherwise, XP Tools can be used by individuals of any experience level.
