DivX All In One Fix
DivX All In One Fix offers solutions to repairing known issues revolving DivX Player, so you can view movies without encountering any problems.
The complete package contains missing/unregistered audio codecs (MPEG1, LPCM), updates the burning engine, resets DivX Player (clear its preferences in Registry), and fixes video display problems (e.g. image is upside down, mirrored, or green).
In addition, DivX All In One Fix repairs “player off” limits (brings back DivX Player to the center of the screen) and ordinal errors (422 and 2250 errors), performs a connection diagnostics and creates a log file with the results on the desktop, and reactivates the DivX Player ActiveX component in Internet Explorer.
Furthermore, the application is capable of resetting the Windows Explorer error where the file manager crashes when you open Div-containing directories, adding DivX to the list of available encoders, and of enabling the DivX decoder in Roxio EMC-9 application. Plus, it contains several skins.
Modifications are immediately to the player, as system reboot is not necessary. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, as DivX All In One Fix did not cause the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. When it comes down to it, DivX All In One Fix offers a straightforward method to repairing common DivX-related issues. Too bad it has not been updated for a long time.
