Alchemy Network Monitor monitors your network servers and business-critical applications availability and performance and immediately alerts you if a server gets out of order.
Alchemy Network Monitor can also perform certain actions (e.g. launch an external application or execute an SQL query) when a server stops responding to the programs requests and maintain a detailed server monitoring log.

Alchemy Network Monitor also can check specific services such as HTTP or SMTP by opening/closing a socket at the specified address and port, MS SQL Server and Oracle servers by logging in/out to/from the database, and Novell Netware servers.
Event notifications can be sent by e-mail, to WinPopup application (Windows 9x), Messenger service (Windows NT) or to ICQ pager, ordinary pager or mobile phone (SMS) via an e-mail gateway.
