Nixie CLock is a tiny widget that displays time in digital format on your desktop. It can be easily set up, even by users with little or no experience in such tools.
The interface of the utility is represented by a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
By default, time is shown in the 24-hour format (military mode), but this option can be changed to the 12-hour clock mode by accessing the Options screen via the context menu. Unfortunately, you cannot customize the appearance of the GUI.
Thanks to the factory parameters provided by the operating system, you can make the window stay on top of all the other frames, as well as set its opacity level to a predefined value ranging from 20% to 100%.
The simple-to-use app does not put a strain on the computer's overall performance, as it runs on a very low amount of system memory and CPU. It has a good response time and works smoothly, without hanging, crashing or popping up errors; we have not encountered any issues throughout our tests. Nixie CLock offers a stylish alternative to check out the time on the screen, compared to the default clock provided by Windows.
